Amanda in her own words:

I have been drawing and painting ever since I can remember. I graduated in Fine Art (Painting) at Camberwell School of Art in 1990. Since then, I have exhibited and sold work in solo shows and group exhibitions - most notably in the National Portrait Gallery's “BP Portrait Award”, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the Mall Gallery, and the Dulwich Picture Gallery.  Aswell as painting for exhibitions, I worked as an assistant scenic painter to Andy Greenfield in West End productions in the late 90's such as "Grease", "Singing' In The Rain" and "Masterclass". I was the artist for V.C Communications in their advertising poster, assistant illustrator for Channel 4's Equinox series, scene painter for Eddie Izzard's Promotional Party and stage artist for the Royal Berkshire Polo Club Fashion Show. Corporate commissioned pieces have included a 16ft x 6ft acrylic abstract painting for the reception area for Old Mutual Asset Managers in EC1, and commissioned portraits are ongoing. I continue to draw and paint with a passion and share technical skills and creative ideas as an invited artist to art groups and clubs. I also teach art privately on Zoom since moving to North Wales this year 2024.
